NBA Renames All-Star Game MVP Award as "Kobe Bryant MVP Award"

In a Saturday NBA All-Star Weekend press conference, NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced that the All-Star MVP Award would be renamed to honor the late Kobe Bryant. Renamed to the Kobe "Bryant MVP Award," Silver went on to list some of Bryant's feats in the history of the All-Star celebration -- taking home 4 MVP awards, a Slam Dunk Award, to making 18 consecutive All-Star appearances.
